Delhi Cabinet: No Female Candidates in AAP Ministry

Six MLAs along with the third time elected Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal took oath on Sunday in Delhi’s Ram Leela ground. Arvind Kejriwal showed confidence on previously elected cabinet and made no changes on the dias. Six MLAs including Manish Sisodia and Satyendra Jain will continue the term in the newly- sworn Delhi cabinet.

It is to be noted that no female candidate fetched a place in the cabinet this time also. The declaration of the cabinet might disappoint the supporters of Atishi Marlen who won from Kalkaji constituency and that of Raghav Chaddha who received victory for AAP from Rajinder Nagar. Here is the list of the cabinet minister who along with Arvind Kejriwal will make laws for Delhi the next five years.

MANISH SISODIA

Manish Sisodia for another time will hold the position of the Deputy CM. Sisodia was a social activist and a journalist before he entered politics. Later he joined Anna Hazare in his Anti- corruption movement. He is association with AAm Adami Party sdince dy one shows his trust and loyalty for the party. Manish Sisodia won from Patparganj constituency for the third consecutive time. He is appraised as a crusader of revamped education infrastructure in Delhi.

SATYENDRA JAIN

Satyendra Jain brought victory for Aam Adami Party yet another time from Shakurpur Basti constituency. He gained attention for Mohalla Clinic and affordable health in Delhi. He was a student of architecture. He has no criminal case registered in his name till now.

GOPAL RAI

Gopal Rai held rural development, general administration department, irrigation and flood control and Labour departments. He is trusted upon with the duty to develop more employment for the youth.

IMRAN HUSSAIN

Imran Hussain was the minister of environment in the previous AAP government. He won with an impressive margin and said to be the face of youth in the cabinet. As an environment minister he was awarded by the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA)- India for banning Chinese manjha or the glass- coated kite strings in Delhi.

RAJENDRAPAL GAUTAM

Rajendrapal Gautam won from Seemapuri which is a SC/ST reserved constituency. He was holding the social justice department in the previous government. He introduced the Jai Bheem Mukhyamantri Pratibha Vikas Yojna.

KAILASH GEHLOT

Kailash Gehlot represents the Najafgarh constituency in the AAP led government. He has a bachelors and masters degree in law. He held the miniistry of Revenue, Administrative Reforms, Information &Technology, Law, Justice & Legislative Affairs, Transport and Environment.
