Former President Pranab Mukherjee passed away today.
He was admitted to army hospital RR . The veteran politician was found to be coronavirus positive when he went to Army Hospital on Monday for another procedure. At the hospital, he underwent surgery for a blood clot in brain.
Health condition of Late Pranab Mukherjee was deteriorating day by day .Pranab Mukherjee’s health worsened on Tuesday and by the evening, had to be kept on ventilator support. His son Abhijit Mukherjee said on Wednesday tweeted that his father was “haemodynamically stable”.

Mukherjee has been a senior leader in the Indian National Congress and has occupied several ministerial portfolios in the Government of India.Prior to his election as President, Mukherjee was Union Finance Minister from 2009 to 2012. He was awarded India’s highest civilian honour, the Bharat Ratna in 2019 by the President of India, Ram Nath Kovind.
