As the Israel-Hamas conflict enters its 13th day, Chinese President Xi Jinping has reiterated China’s commitment to working with Egypt to boost stability in the Middle East, also known as West Asia. President Xi reportedly gave this message to Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly during their meeting in Beijing, according to Chinese official media.
Xi stated, “China is willing to enhance cooperation with Egypt… and inject more certainty and stability into the region and the world.” He emphasized the strong friendship and mutual trust shared between China and Egypt, portraying them as close partners working together for development and mutual prosperity.
“At present, the international and regional situation is undergoing profound and complex changes, and the world is experiencing rapid changes,” Xi said in reference to the intricate and constantly changing international and regional scene. He emphasized China’s commitment to upholding justice, fairness, and the interests of developing nations in general.
In view of the ongoing difficulties in the Middle East, China’s willingness to communicate with Egypt emphasizes the nation’s growing influence in international relations and attempts to promote stability and peace in the area.
