A large number of Palestinian civilians were killed in Israeli attacks on residential buildings in the Al-Sabra and Tuffah neighborhoods of Gaza City, the Wafa news agency reported.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society has lost contact with a team trying to rescue a six-year-old Palestinian girl trapped in her family’s car after six of her relatives were killed in an Israeli attack on the vehicle in Gaza City.
Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani met with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken in Washington, DC, where he said progress had been made on the Gaza ceasefire and prisoner talks.
France, Germany, and the United States condemned the conference, which called for 21 illegal settlements in Gaza and saw Israeli ministers dancing and celebrating.
At least 26,637 people have been killed and 65,387 injured in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7. The death toll in Israel from the October 7 Hamas attacks is 1,139.
