MNS in support of Citizenship Amendment Act Rally In Mumbai Today

A resurgent Raj Thackeray is leading a Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) rally on Sunday against illegal Bangladeshi and Pakistani immigrants in Mumbai. The rally being held in support of Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) will proceed from Hindu Gymkhana to Azad Maidan in Mumbai, where the MNS chief Raj Thackeray is scheduled to address the gathering. Strict security arrangements have been in put in place for the rally which is also being closely monitored by security men apart from drone cameras. Traffic restrictions have also been enforced in view of the MNS rally in South Mumbai. The MNS rally is being seen as a major move by Raj Thackeray indicating a shift towards the BJP. In recent weeks, the MNS chief has shown signs of leaning towards the BJP and was also reported to have met former Maharashtra chief Minister, Devendra Fadnavis.
