The Buxa Tiger Reserve was established on February 16, 1983, in the northeastern part of West Bengal, bordering Bhutan and Assam, and was the country’s 15th tiger reserve. The Buxa Tiger Reserve in West Bengal is the biggest forest in the Dooars. This tiger reserve, which covers 759 square kilometres and is traversed by multiple rivers and their tributaries, boasts a diverse and stunning scenery. Many portions of the forest in the Buxa Hills of the Sinchula Range are inaccessible to authorities due to the rough terrain, and hence remain undiscovered even after so many years!

Gorumara National Park
The Gorumara National Park in West Bengal, located on the banks of the rivers Murti and Raidak in the Jalpaiguri district, is a must-see on your next trip to the Dooars. This medium-sized forest, which covers an area of 80 square kilometres and is located in the foothills of the Great Himalayas, has a great diversity of flora and animals on a show for interested tourists, nature enthusiasts, and wildlife photographers who come to see nature’s magical workings. Neora Valley National Park, in West Bengal, was established in 1986 and is located in the Kalimpong district. Singalila National Park
The Singalila National Park in West Bengal is the state’s highest national park, rising more than 7000 feet above sea level in the Singalila range. Mahanada Wildlife Sanctuary
