Sharjah Launches 'Compassion for Gaza' Relief Campaign in Response to Gaza War

As part of a bigger “UAE Relief Campaign for People Affected by the War in Gaza,” the Emirate of Sharjah has started the “Compassion for Gaza” relief campaign in response to the dire circumstances in Gaza. His Majesty The program was officially launched at the Expo Centre Sharjah under Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s direct direction as president of the UAE.

Children and families in Gaza who have been harmed by recent Israeli attacks are given hope by the “Compassion for Gaza” campaign, especially those who are awaiting care at Khan Yunis’ Nasser Hospital. The campaign, open from 8 am to 1:30 pm, seeks to raise vital funds to lessen suffering in the area that has been devastated by conflict.

To assure the success of this crucial project, numerous groups are collaborating. Working together to bring much-needed help to the embattled people of Gaza are the Sharjah Charitable Society, the Big Heart Foundation, the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Sharjah Volunteer Centre.

The ‘Compassion for Gaza’ relief campaign reflects the compassion and solidarity of the UAE and the Emirate of Sharjah, as they reach out to support those in need during this challenging time in Gaza.
