- Marina Beach

Marina beach is located on Chennai’s Coromandel coast and spans 13 kilometres, making it the world’s second-longest urban beach. It offers a really quiet and fresh atmosphere. Aside from being the greatest urban beach in the country, the location is well-known for its cleanliness. The rows of palm palms next to the beach’s coastline provide thrilling and relaxing strolls. The stretch is popular with joggers, and there are statues along the beach that may be seen when exploring the beachfront.

- Dhanushkodi

Dhanushkodi, sometimes known as the “lost country,” was abandoned after a typhoon in 1964 and now sits in ruins. It does, however, have some of the most beautiful beaches in the state. Away from the tourists, the town’s tranquillity remains of churches and temples, white sand beaches, turquoise blue oceans, and breathtaking sunrises and sunsets all contribute to its allure. Dhanushkodi, located just outside Rameshwaram, is difficult to visit since no direct buses go there. Despite this, its remoteness adds to its allure, and those interested in making the trip can charter a private automobile.

- Tharangambadi (Tranquebar)

Tranquebar, a charming community that was previously home to the Danes, is located about 160 miles south of Chennai along the Coromandel Coast. Tranquebar Beach’s beautiful sands are located right below Dansborg Fort, one of the few relics of Danish influence in India. The attraction, as well as its surroundings, are excellent examples of Danish architecture. Although difficult to reach, this hidden jewel on the Bay of Bengal is ideal for anyone wishing to get away from the masses and experience something unique.

The Auroville Beach, located near Bommayapalayam on East Coast Road and 9.5 kilometres from Pondicherry Bus Station and 6 kilometres from Auroville Matrimandir, is a pleasant and tranquil beach that is also a must-see Pondicherry Beach.
The Auroville Beach is one of the most popular beaches in Pondicherry, yet it is also one of the least congested. The waters at the Beach are shallow and provide excellent swimming opportunities. The beach has a slight slope, which makes swimming easier. The beach is generally used by locals during weekends. On other days of the week, the beach is deserted. At this beach, the sunrise is more magnificent. There are some beach huts and resorts that offer food and lodging to guests.
- Rameshwaram Beach

Rameshwaram beach generally attracts visitors since Rameshwaram is one of the Hindus’ four important pilgrimage places. The location exudes a certain allure that entices visitors to come and spend some time there. The waves along the coast are shallow, making it ideal for bathing and strolling along the beach. This beach is also known for having the world’s longest bridge across the water. The beach here is tranquil and has an enticing vibe that will draw anyone’s attention.
