World Cup 2023: Anushka calls Virat ‘storm chaser’ as he hits 95 against NZ

On 22 October, India recorded their fifth consecutive win in the 2023 World Cup by defeating New Zealand. Virat Kohli led Team India to victory with his match-winning knock of 95 runs.

Anushka Sharma is Virat’s biggest cheerleader and she proved it again when she included her cricketer husband’s love on her Instagram Stories. When she shared his photo, she called him a ‘storm chaser’.

For the past few weeks, Virat and Anushka have been in the news after reports of them becoming parents again. They are the parents of a baby girl, Vamika. However, their second pregnancy has not been confirmed by them.

On 22 October, India faced New Zealand in Dharamshala for the 2023 World Cup. Virat once again showed his potential as he was in sight of his second consecutive ODI hundred. However, he lost by five runs. India also registered their fifth win by defeating New Zealand.

Anushka Sharma shared a video from ICC on her Instagram. The video is a capture of Virat trying to hit a six. She wrote: “Always proud of you (sic).”

She also shared another photo of Virat and called him a ‘storm chaser’.

Rumors are doing the rounds that Anushka Sharma is in her second trimester and hence avoiding any public appearance. Hindustan Times reported a source who claimed, “Anushka is expecting her second child. Like last time, they will formally share the news with the world at a later stage.” The source also said that Anushka has been away from the public eye to avoid speculation.

It was also reported that Anushka and Virat recently visited a maternity clinic in Mumbai. The quote read: “They have asked the paparazzi not to publish their photos, promising to make an announcement soon.”

Anushka Sharma married Virat Kohli in November 2017. They welcomed their daughter Vamika in January 2021. On the work front, Anushka will soon be seen in ‘Chakda Xpress’. The film is a biography of former Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami.
