- Undavalli Caves
Vijayawada is a major tourist attraction that attracts visitors from all over the country. Located about six miles [6 km] southwest from Vijayawada are fine cut-out caves known as the Undavalli caves. Built in the 4th – 5th centuries, the caves of Undavalli are located on the tops of high mountains overlooking the Krishna River.
