  1. Undavalli Caves

Vijayawada is a major tourist attraction that attracts visitors from all over the country. Located about six miles [6 km] southwest from Vijayawada are fine cut-out caves known as the Undavalli caves. Built in the 4th – 5th centuries, the caves of Undavalli are located on the tops of high mountains overlooking the Krishna River. The bridge covers the Kolkata-Chennai highway and facilitates the irrigation of more than 1.2 hectares of farmland.
