Dog love is the sweetest thing anyone can experience. Animals are so much more lovable and true to heart than human beings and so you will see many people going solo with their dog or cat beside them.
Loving and petting animals is such a loving and caring thing to do, people who don’t like dogs start loving them as soon as they see those innocent eyes of them asking just one thing from them, a little bit of attention and love. It is not just me saying how passionately dogs love humans; research backs up this data!
In an article for Inverse, an animal behaviourist said that when puppies and dogs are around humans, their brain releases all sort of good chemicals. Their thought process is even purer than you think.
A dog doesn’t discriminate people on any grounds; they remain loyal to their owners even if he is a criminal.
Some scientists say that humans have been domesticating animals for more than 40,000 years now. Dogs have been spending time with humans for centuries now, from chasing for sticks and hunting to giving us mental peace now in this stressful era.
Ami Shojai is an animal behaviour scientist, she said to Inverse in an interview, “The hormone oxytocin is released (in both dogs and people) when they interact/have contact with someone they like. This ‘love hormone’ helps cement and increase the bond we share … it’s also the hormone that floods the system of new moms to amp up attachment to new babies.”
In a study from Emory University, scientists trained dogs to lie still in an MRI machine and used fMRI (functional magnetic resonance imaging) to measure how their brains responded to the scents of both familiar and unfamiliar people and dogs, Mic reported.
The results of the research were pleasing! The human scents activated the pleasure centre of dogs’ brains more than the scents of other canines. It also showed that the scent of the owners excited the dogs more than any other stimulus.
How beautiful is this relationship between dogs and human beings? The kind of love they share with each other is beautiful and unthinkable.
Dog owners love their dogs so much and they treat them as their kid. There hasn’t been such a lovely bond that humans share as they do with dogs and other animals.
Dogs aren’t the only species humans love and take care. Humans also have pets like horses, cats, and so many more. The most complicated species on earth – humans become the kind ones when they are with animals. It’s a pity that yet, some people beat them and torture them for pleasure and selfishness.
