So, staying at home calls for some food all the time. You might notice when you are at home, you eat more than you would when you are out for work.

It is a part of our nature, we love binging food when we are at home, might be one of the reasons why so many of us have been ‘healthy’ in this lockdown.

Nevertheless, many of us like to have a light evening snack to fill our tummies. It can be as light as a soup or as heavy as a dosa.

  • Bread Pizza

This is something that I have tried a million times in lockdown, I think I should make some more tonight. Bread Pizza is the easiest recipe you can make for your evening snacks. Just toast some bread and put some butter or mayonnaise on it, cut some veggies like onions, tomatoes and capsicum. Place it over the bread piece and grate cheese over it.

Microwave it or Cook it on a pan for a while. Voila! It is done, you can add some salt and pepper to make it tastier. You can serve it with ketchup if you are a big ketchup fan.

  • Sev Puri

Aaaah… this is the favourite chaat for all Maharashtrians out there. Sev Puri is an authentic chaat that you will find in every stall of Maharashtra. It is very easy to make, just make sure you have the imli chutney and green chutney at your home.

Bring in some puris from a shop, boil a potato, mash it over the puri, add some onions and tomatoes over it and then add the two chutneys. Ultimately garnish it with some Sev.

It is marvellous.

  • Bread Pattice

Bread pattice is also a very popular Indian dish that you find in the streets. It is easy to make and at the same time easy to handle too. All you have to do is make a besan batter and dip the bread in it and deep fry it.
